Cardiac Prevention and Cardiac Imaging
Jamaluddin Moloo, MD, joined the Boone Heart Institute in 2023 on a part-time basis. When not working at Boone Heart, he serves as the VP of Integrated Health Services for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. In addition, he is a Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado's Cardiac and Vascular Center, where he oversees advanced cardiac imaging one day per week.
Dr. Moloo attended Texas A&M University for undergrad, then received his MD from Baylor College of Medicine. He did his residency at the University of Colorado Health Services Center in Denver. In 1996, Dr. Moloo received a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Following that, he did a General Internal Medicine Fellowship from Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Hospital. In 2007, Dr. Moloo completed a Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital through Harvard Medical School.
The Boone Heart team enjoyed working with Dr. Moloo through the University Hospital so much that we pursued and ultimately hired him. His expertise in advanced cardiovascular imaging aligns with the Boone Heart approach of early detection and aggressive prevention.
